My mother used to have chronic iron deficiency and nothing worked until I found these dissolvable tablets. She couldn't swollow pills so I dissolved these in her Ensure. She never had the problem again. I now have the same problem so these are a life saver.

Totally agree with other reviewers that the taste could have been better. I took it for a week and got used to the taste. The benefits seem real as it makes you feel better and more active. I feel less tired than before taking this supplement. I was afraid of constipation, but this pill seems to be fine. If you don't mind the taste, please try it.

I ordered the Vitamin B12-6-folate combo and the vitamin D and OMG was I hooked! They were small and either tasted good( B) or tasteless(D)but, this IRON and the ZINC I bought WILL GAG YOU! They do dissolve fairly quickly but not quick enough to escape the taste. So if they could improve the taste I would be hooked on these as well, but I won’t buy the Iron or Zinc again.

I would buy more of these. They don't have a really awful taste but they do taste like an iron product. You can put it under your tongue or swallow it.

The tablets can be swallowed, or they easily dissolve under the tongue. My bloodwork has improved.

Product tastes good. I haven’t had the intestinal distress that I got from ferrous sulfate. But I won’t know if it’s absorbed for a couple of months. I’ll update after the blood tests.

Completely agree with other reviewers that taste could have been better. I took it for a week and got used to the taste. The benefits seems real as I do feel better and more active. I am less fatigued unlike prior to taking this supplement. I was worried of constipation but that doesn’t seem to be a problem with this pill. Go for it if you don’t mind the taste.

I am severely anemic and have to get iron infusions twice a year. I have tried every iron supplement out there. Even flintstone chewables with iron which taste awful. These do not taste too bad and do not leave my mouth tasting like pennies all day. And best part- I don’t get horrible stomach upset or vomiting. I am lactose intolerant but these don’t seem to bother that either. I can’t wait to see how my anemia does now that I can take something.

Americans are so funny they want to swallow an iron pill that might not even absorb because their doctor ordered it for them. This is much better. Excellent quality. These are great for gastric bypass patients.

Taste better than any sublingual dissolving iron supplements I've had in the past and that's truly saying something! My only complaint is that they are very powdery (which as a plus, makes them dissolve quicker), but as a con, makes them fall apart in the container and become non-usable. Still, given the price and better taste than most supplements, I will give them another try.

Easy to take, soft and not bad tasting. It is actually the best version of iron that I have had following bariatric surgery. I feel more energetic since I began taking it a few weeks ago. I will be tested soon to see if it is doing enough to bring my levels up.

1 star...they came super duper fast, but when I opened the bottle, they were not all tablets anymore. Not sure where it happened but they had been crashed around that tablets are all broken up and turned to powder. Its a shame, I bought 2 bottles and they are both like that.

This product is horrible. Before it even gets under your tongue, it dissolves into a pile of mush. I had to end up swallowing the remaining mush and it bothered my stomach. It has a taste like nothing I have ever tasted before. Even after brushing my teeth, my mouth tasted horrible. I called the actual company and was told this is how it's supposed to taste and was offered no other help. This was my experience. Thank you.

I had been taking 2 & 3 regular iron pills a day after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis three months ago and my iron was still low. After using the Just Women Iron for three weeks my iron level was back to normal.

Finally found this sublingual product after trying many kinds of iron pills. Even the gentle iron options that most people can tolerate upset my stomach. I love that this iron bypasses the gut and goes right into the bloodstream. It doesn't give me indigestion - and my energy improved within a few days. My doctor prescribed 2 tabs (50mg) on an empty stomach along with 500-1000mg Vitamin C, which significantly improves iron absorption. Since iron is best absorbed away from food and caffeine, I take this before bed. The manufacturer said that it's fine to take this iron at the same time as their sublingual melatonin, which I also love.Good luck to you, fellow anemics!UPDATE 6/15/15: This eventually caused indigestion and I can no longer tolerate it :(

These do not turn your teeth black--- at most, your mouth looks like you just at some licorice. Nothing permanent, nothing to worry about. This is a great way for me to get iron--- I had a gastric bypass and cannot absorb it through the stomach. I am very anemic. These are a godsend for bariatric patients. Do not hesitate to buy!
