Unknown at this time since it has only been a couple of weeks. We are praying for good results as my wife has parkinsons and we read the book "parkinsons and the B1 therapy" by Daphne Bryan phd. We will stay on the B1 and alter dosage as time goes by.

Very awful taste
Marjorie
I couldn't stomach these. Terrible taste! Hard to get that taste out of your mouth.
Anna
Yes most bitter supplement I’ve ever tasted but once you know what to expect it’s ok because the results are so worth it. I was going to throw them away after being in shock when I first took one but I tried again another time and have stuck with it. The results were I felt more relaxed and able to take deeper breaths. Definitely try it and mentally prepare. You can have tea or strong flavor drink ready when it’s done dissolving.
Sarah Davis
I like it’s dissolvable but I just don’t like the taste of it wish it came in different flavors
Linda Burchell
Bitter taste
John B.
I didn't like the bitter taste
Nancy A Miller
The review are accurate...it is awful, it's like putting a regular bitter pill in your mouth that you were suppose to swallow not let it dissolve.
MzChevelle
Ewwwwww, the taste is awful!!
Taylor
I’m very disappointed in this product. I have taken many sublingual supplements, however, this product tastes so awful and the taste lingers. I will not be able to take it and will have to throw it away.
Classy2
The taste is fine. I look at it this way; The Health Benefits this product provides far exceeds wording about how it tastes. Think HEALTH & GETTING BETTER & you’ll be happy you have this product
cb
Taste terrible I just break them in half and swallow them
Jennifer Lucky
I beleive if it weren't damaged, I would reccomend this product because it dissolves under the tongue and is perfect for those of us with difficulty swallowing medications or vitamins. It's also very affordable.
Tony Diel
Absolutely grotesque. Can I have my money back.
Mrs. Heather Sneath
These are awful. They state that they dissolve but they do not. I just had stomach surgery and cannot swallow these whole. So I cannot use them. When you break them in half they are absolutely horrible.
Neil A.
I think the product is good and works, but the bitterness is so bad that I don't want it to melt in my mouth.
Anonymous
This is the worst tasting vitamin ever. Normally when it goes under your tongue the taste is fruity. Not this one and the aftertaste is not nice either. I definitely will not order again.
Erin
I suppose it’s a good value but just remember you get what you pay for. The taste is something is cannot get past. I’m not generally own to complain but I cannot get these down with gagging. They are terrible. If you can get past that, your good to go.
Charles
I have been taking these sublingual Vitamin B1 pills for over 2 weeks. I place a pill under my tongue first thing in the morning and let my saliva melt and dissolve it and wait for it to be absorbed (to the extent possible) under my togue. Whatever remains after a few minutes, I swallow with some water. I have read the other reviews and don't understand the "bitter" (pun intended) complaints of these reviewers who retch and rail about the malignant taste. Maybe they got a bad batch. As for me, these pills are basically tasteless except for a slightly sweet taste from the Stevia. I don't have any problem with them. Whether the B1 therapy will help with my health issues is a different question. Since they are basically the only sublingual B1 pills around, and very reasonably priced, I suggest that you try them. if the sublingual taste really annoys you, then you can always swallow them as regular B1 vitamins.
Niamh Nicraith
Absolutely worst sublingual pill I've ever had in my mouth. Horribly bitter, with an acrid aftertaste I had difficulty getting rid of. It even smelled awful. No trace of a supposed cherry flavor or sweetener. Blech!
grammy7309
This product is absolutely awful!!! I purchased this for my kids to help with keeping mosquitos away and not getting bites but this product is gross!!! Super bitter, very powdery, awful smell. I was hopeful as the description lead me to believe there was a flavor and sweetener added to help but it did nothing! Now I can't even return this product for a refund as I clearly will NOT be giving this to my children let alone take it for myself!
Karen
Horrible taste.
ann falco
This may work for some elderly who don't have very many taste buds left, but for everyone else- WOW. Thiamine is a stinky vitamin in general (hence why people take it to avoid getting bit by mosquitos etc...), but my gosh this has a strong medicinal horrible flavor. A liquid would be easier to stomach as this meltable gets thick in the mouth and hangs around far too long. I made everyone in my house try it because the reactions are hilarious!
deslin
Opened the bottle, put one tablet under my tongue and instantly got a horrible chemical taste and had to spit it out. Am requesting a refund because I don't believe these pills should have such a blatantly chemical taste.
Patrick Tierno
Taste bad
Traci Edwards
These taste so bad, that I just swallow them. I do not let them dissolve. Gross.
tripmom3
There was no cherry flavor. The stevia is so overpowering. Cannot return. Very unhappy. DO NOT BUY
DomUnique
The flavor is horrible! I just swallow them without chewing and I do it as quickly as possible. Aside from that, B1 keeps mosquitos from thinking you're dinner. This works much faster than capsules and is now part of our summer first aid kit.
EM Gris
These are terrible tasting vitamins! Vile and made me start gagging, how could they believe these were ‘chewable’ is misleading. Don’t do it, but I bought Barimelts brand instead. So much better!
VA Mom
I have a 14-15 year old cat that developed seizures after getting a convenia shot this past winter, being on an rx kibble for struvites, and metronidazole for a c.perfringens infection over the winter and spring. Both drugs and the d-methionine in the kibble to lower urine ph lower the seizure threshold. It wasn't until he was given just two doses of the metronidazole that the seizures manifested clearly and scarily ~ tonic clonic aka grand mal seizures. Looking back to the winter his symptoms appear to be seizures. Seizure meds have helped for the most part but he's still having too many periods of him looking out of it and lost and walking around in circles which point to absent seizures aka petit mal seizures. He's on a keto diet with MCT oil to help with the seizures but we just started the MCT oil about 3 weeks ago. We've added homeopathic remedies and an herbal remedy for pets specifically for seizures which bring him out of it for a while. My daughter who spends the majority of time with him has been researching (as have I) and stumbled across a case study of two cats presenting with seizures due to thiamine deficiency. Both recovered quickly after B1 injections. As well as another article written by a woman who suffers from metronidazole toxicity and found that she had a thiamine deficiency that contributed greatly to her symptoms, one of which was a slightly enlarged heart (the vet has detected a grade 1-2 murmur which is also a thiamine deficiency symptom). So I got this to give it a try. We are starting at a lower cat-sized dose since he appears to be sensitive to everything. I cannot even give him CoQ10 for his heart since it triggers seizures. Anyways we're on day 2 of supplementing so too soon to tell if it's helping. I dissolved a couple of tablets in water in 10 mls of water in a small brown glass bottle and keep in the fridge. To dose him I pull the amount I want (this morning was 25mg ~ so 1.5ml) into a dosing syringe and squirt it down his throat. He doesn't seem to mind it. I guess he's gotten used to all the supplements we've been giving him. I also got the b-complex by the same company for kids to make sure he's not getting depleted in the other b's. I just put the tablet in a dosing syringe and pull in a mil or two of water to squirt down his throat so it's over quick. So people who are having problems getting past the bitterness or taste of the b100, they can try what we've been doing. Dissolve the tablet in a small amount of water (1 teaspoon or less) and then hold your breath and put it in your mouth and let it absorb into your mouth. Holding your breath will help blunt the taste. Follow up with a sip of water.

Don’t buy this. The taste is terrible
noname
Why in the world did they make a sublingual vit with out flavor??? This sublingual goal is so bitter you can't tolerate it. It actually caused nausea!! Don't buy it! I made a big mistake and should have stuck with EZmelt.
Dee
I have been using vitamin B1 for over 50 years to stop being eaten alive by mosquitoes every summer. Good product thanks.
Cindy Jessup
B1 helps with calmness. Helps so much at bedtime.
Topaz
I cannot stand the taste at all
Brew
I like that it’s 100 mg and a great price, you can pay triple for one tenth. The Cherry flavor is horrible, if I didn’t have to take 500 mg after Bariatric surgery I would have been upset. Smells like RAID bug spray in your mouth. Awful- my spouse threw up.
P. Vezino
you couldnt give them for free to me and i have to take them every day.. taste is terrible!

I had high hopes for this product I could not believe the flavor having it dissolve in my mouth is almost a losing my dinner lunch every time. If you value flavor do not buy these
Kill Bill
It’s so awful it’s unbelievably bitter. Question is; where is the cherry strawberry grape flavor???? I think they forgot to add the flavor!
dj2012
So darn bitter I spit it out! No way I could tolerate waiting for it to dissolve. Says 'cherry flavored'.. definitely not..just sharp, bitterness..left a chemical taste in my mouth. Never again!
yogamomma
This IS a superior supplement product in terms of sourcing & value. However, it is quite possibly the most disgusting thing I have ever placed on my mouth. I can tolerate a lot of supplements. I have never had an issue palating any lozenge, sublingual, or liquid form of supplement. I will be trying the peppermint oil suggestion for the next dosage. Hoping that will help me keep it down bc I really want the quick system delivery of this product to begin benefiting my body. I urge others to be aware of the feedback on taste & try ways to curb the ick reaction.
Shopaholic Strikes Again
These melting tabs are the worst tasting pills I’ve ever had. The taste lingers and I dread taking them every night. I’m post bariatric sleeve so it’s needed. I will say the price is great if you can handle the taste and they are super effective. Just got my bloodwork results for my levels were excellent after taking this.
AMT
These taste terrible! My daughter thought it was just my taste until she tried them and agreed they taste too terrible to use. I can't stand to use them so I requested a refund. I wasn't required to return them so they are going in the trash now.
Julie
I bought this product for my 10 year old daughter to take to prevent mosquito bites. I decided to try the first one. It's a good thing I did! What a horrible poison flavored, slow to dissolve tablet! Why do they advertise cherry flavor? It even says cherry flavor in the ingredients. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm getting a refund,.for sure!

Effective supplement
mrsb1221
Read the reviews and saw that these vitamins got an overall good review. However, they are TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NASTY. It took forever to dissolve, I had to brush my teeth after to get the taste out of my mouth. The smell lingered on my hands all day even after washing multiple times. I wish I could return they are that bad.
Neil K
The taste is so bad I gagged and spit it out which I never do. If I tasted battery acid, this is what I think it would taste like lol.
22manyboats
Complete waste of money as this has a very bitter flavor that I can’t get past my tongue. Yuck!
damgrantham
I guess the product is good and works, however, you do not want to let it dissolve in your mouth because it has a horrible bitter taste. It’s a good thing you can swallow it and that is a viable option otherwise I would’ve thrown these in the trash because they taste that bad.
Brenda csyea
Its a melt so yes easy to take, helps to have liquid in your mouth. You definitely dont want it lingering in your mouth, doesnt taste good.
4solar2
I’ve taken a lot of medications, herbs and vitamins in my lifetime and I have never had to throw something away strictly because of the taste. I’ve taken herbs and vitamins that are fast dissolving before and I’ve always been able to get them down. Not this one. It dissolves so fast that you can’t get it down fast enough. Someone suggested placing it under your tongue till it dissolves. Tried that and it was worse. I can understand the fast dissolve feature but you can put a thin coating on it to give people a chance to get it down. Anyway, try it if you want but weigh the fact that there’s a lot of negative reviews.
Linda Fitzpatrick
Vitamin B-1 tastes TERRIBLE. Good thing you can either dissolve it under your tongue or swallow it.
Lyte
Fast melt. I like how super tiny they are.
Cinabar
The taste is pretty good cherry taste, I can't believe how fast it melted. Very much worth it to me, thank you:)
Cady D. Burcham
I bought this for post bariatric surgery as my surgeon required 100 mg of thiamin daily in dissolvable/liquid/chewable form. It tastes so bitter, like poison. This tablet has me gagging every morning, even if I try to swallow the pill whole. The taste lingers for so long no matter what I try to wash it down with. Do not recommend solely based on taste alone. If you can stomach this without gagging every morning, I’m impressed.
R. Welch
The function is excellent, but the flavor is truly gag worthy. I won't be buying these agan.
La tropi
Su sabor es amargo aunque pequeña es algo horrible su sabor que se queda en la boca por largo rato
Amanda P
I can’t take them. I rarely complain about the taste of things, but this is so bad I just can’t take them. The bitter aftertaste lingers as well. Waste of money.
Mari Monfort
They taste so bad I just swallow them tablet style.
Carol Pickel
These are supposed to melt under the tongue, don’t try it. They taste nasty. I couldn’t even swallow while with a drink. Yep, they are nasty.
Queen Anne
This B1 seems to work well. I do feel better since using this product. The reason for 3 stars is the taste. It is so bitterly wretched, there is no way you can let this dissolve in your mouth! I have to swallow them quickly before they begin to dissolve. Holy cow!
gr
Normally when I see reviewers comment on how a nutritional/herbal supplement tastes I roll my eyes. This stuff isn't candy, nature didn't make it sweet for you, sorry, deal with it.That being said, this is horrifically bad, and the taste stays in your mouth for a while. On the plus side, it dissolves very easily in the mouth so at least the lozenge itself isn't around very long. And this is a good company that makes it, I use some of their other products with great satisfaction. There's just no getting around the fact it tastes terrible, so if you want a quick-dissolving/absorbing B1 supplement, this is what you get.I will say there is/was another option with another company that made coenzymated B1 lozenges that are pretty good, unfortunately I can no longer find them.
SUSANNA BAILEY
While they do melt pretty quickly the taste is horrible
C. Fletcher
Like many other reviews, these were incredibly bitter. It's like having an old smelly multi vitamin that's meant to be swallowed slowly solving in your mouth And leaves a lingering aftertaste. It says it contains Stevia and cherry flavor in ingredients. This is absolutely not true. Either this is a bad batch or it's misleading at best. Several were broken up into tiny pieces and chalk dust as well. So you definitely don't get as described or amount it says unless you just want to take bitter chalk dust shots. Very disappointed.
Faye F.
Vitamin B1 has a lot of pluses and I wanted to try it out along with my Sister. Been taking it once a day and waiting for my results. Like the fact that it dissolves so hopefully it'll be in our systems quicker and start working.
robin cousins
Even though it melted, it’s very pasty
God Child!
I was under the impression that they were cherry flavored. This tasted worse than, an aspirin, or any pill I tasted. It actually did taste how antibiotics smell. I just had gastric surgery and even stuff that's not like this is hard to stomach. There definitely needs to be an note on this because nasty taste and wait to dissolve don't really help me at all. Can we just swallow these or do we have to wait for them to solve.
Cindy Rodenbeck
Dislike taste otherwise does what is needed
Anonymous
This supplement brand is reputable so I ordered their B1. I opened the bottle as soon as it arrived and popped one in my mouth as they are to be taken sublingually. They taste wretched!!! They are bitingly bitter. Ugh! Honestly, these are pretty tough to take. Unless you are a gluten for punishment, you might want to get a brand that doesn't taste bad.
Mary
The taste is awful ! If you can get passed that your fine
Jonathan Shields
review title says all you need to know
Judy
For an item that is sublingual the taste of this is disgusting. Cannot take it nor can I get a refund
Leigh Palmer
These are advertised as quick dissolve but the bitter taste makes it impossible to take them.
CharAllenWalk
Love these supplements! I know doctors don’t teat us for B1 but if you suspect you are deficient I recommend you try these. The taste is something you need to get used to but after taking it for a few weeks you won’t notice it. The benefits outweighs the few seconds of discomfort of taste. Good luck!
Janell
I know it's a vitamin but if it says cherry flavor I expect that it would somewhat taste like it says. This is a pure dissolvable vitamin taste. I could hardly swallow it.
Renee Beckett
This taste like somebody’s underwear oh it’s horrible I can’t do it
Anonymous
Don't like all the ingredients
DDT
This product dissolves well sublingualy, as its supposed to, and gives you the Vit B1 supplement you expect, but heads up: it tastes 'caustic' -like eating Comet/ Ajax sink scrub cleanser (seriously! lol). If you can handle that, for its B-1 benefits, its a great way to get it immediately into your system!
SusanE
Very powdery, not solid enough to swallow whole. Disintegrates on the tongue and tastes very bitter.
Sandy Bush
Tasted bad

One word "Disgusting"
Karen's Kitchen
Good price, fast delivery, easy to swallow.
MM1014
I love superior source products. I have their b12, vitamin c, and vitamin d and they all taste just fine. The b1 is vile. Don't care if it works or not, but they need to do something to mask the flavor.
Deb
I like the idea but the packaging should say it had dairy. I didn't look for it cause that is not a normal thing for vitamins to contain. The flavor is horrid I had to spit it out.
Anastasia Santana
It says put it under your tongue and it dissolves fast. Well it didn't and when I lifted my tongue to check it covered my mouth in nastiness. I couldn't stomach it no matter how hard I tried.
Anonymous
They said it had no taste I thought I was being poisoned it's the most horrible horrific taste ever and water couldn't help me and maybe 10 minutes afterwards it was affecting my lung area I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital call 911 but I'm okay now y'all need to take that off the market put it under your tongue
Lisa
These were aweful. Not buying again.
GeeCee
I would not purchase this again. This product needs to go back to development for a better taste profile.
Richlady
dissolves quickly under the tounge.. little expensive though.I pay 3 someting for a sublingual b12..with 250 tabs in bottle @WalmartNot noticed yet if it helps.
K. Pratt
I thought that having natural cherry flavors would make somewhat palatable. Boy, was I wrong. As soon as I put it in my mouthbunder the tongue, it tasted like chemicals. If I die tonight, this is why. And I can't get rid of the taste. Even after drinking orange cream soda.. Uugh so aweful.
TODD QUEBEDEAUX
Taste is absolutely terrible. Too many pills are in pieces so you have to combine them to get a complete dose, or throw a third of the bottle away.
Quality products for fair price
My doctor told me I needed this supplement.Try it the taste is like artificial sugar. Though it melts easily on your tongue. The taste is horrible. The amount is a good price.
Krista F.
It tastes like garbage! Thank goodness you can swallow it.
EC21
Like other reviewers mention, this supplement is very bitter. I felt a bit sick the first time I took one but then figured out what to do. I either add a drop of peppermint essential oil on top of each one and then pop in my mouth quickly, OR I put 3 in my mouth and take a sip of kombucha and hold it in my mouth until they dissolve (in about 5 seconds), then swallow. Can't taste them and they have NO after-taste. Any strong beverage will probably work. Great price too. I bought a flavored one B1 for a lot more money and they taste great but not nearly as many in the bottle and I ran out quickly. Someone I know eats an Altoid Peppermint with this brand of B1, so don't get thrown by the bad taste reviews. There are solutions to every problem!
daroo
The smell of these is so bad I tossed the whole lot into the trash. *Imagine the smell of metallic rotten eggs.
E. Schmidt
Horribly bitter. One of the most disgusting things I’ve ever tasted. Waste of money!
K. Sheltra
This is sublingual, but to leave it in your mouth long enough to dissolve is unbearable. It is chalky though so just swallowing them is a bit difficult as the flavor still lingers.
Donna Honisko
The taste was bad, which I could live with for a minute. The quality was terrible, at least half of the tablets were crumbled in the bottle. I had a layer of powder at the bottom of the bottle. I had to buy a different brand as a replacement. I would not recommend.
itsallinurmind
How did I not see this in the reviews? It took MINUTES for this pill to dissolve and with each passing second, the taste got worse and worse! For the next dose, I was able to take a sip of water --- then, take the pill and put it in the back of my throat, then take a gulp of water. I was afraid it would stick to the back of my throat (as it is not coated), but I just kept chugging water. So, maybe this will work out after-all?But I would 5,000% recommend that you do NOT allow the pill to melt under your tongue or in your cheek - nope. Don't do it man!! LOL!
